About The Artist

Jill PaintingJill Ingram began painting in childhood. It was a hobby that flourished into a passion and led her to develop into the accomplished painter that she is today. Jill's unique watercolors have gained widespread acclaim and her work can be found in international collections as well as galleries across the United States. She considers herself fortunate to have studied with artists of such renown as Del Gish, Arne Westerman, and Nita Engle. She majored in art at EWU and SPU. Her talent continues to grow, as both fascinated fans and her numerous awards can attest. At the Colorado Watercolor Society's 1999 Juried Competition, Jill's "Jewel" took 1st Place.

Jill LaughingMore recently, at the 2006 Northwest Watercolor Society's Juried Exhibition, hosted in Seattle, her "Ruby Slippers" took 1st Place. Jill lives with her husband in Eastern Washington, and her gallery, Jill Ingram Watercolors, located in Historical Dayton's Weinhard Hotel, takes up much of her time. Her talent is already assured, and yet Jill continues to seek further knowledge on a daily basis and employs many self-teaching methods. She attends workshops as well as exchanging books, ideas, and encouragement with a group of fellow artists who nurture each other's growth and experimentation. It is with great expectation that we watch her work continue to evolve down exciting and amazing new paths. See Jill’s latest work here. Read what’s going on with Jill here.
